All I want to do is learn so that I can give in return. This is my soul's core expression.
I grew up being a "citizen of he world", as my beloved mother would say. It was also a nice way to romanticize moving on an international scale every two years, a rough deal for an intuitive kid that deeply connected with people and places but had to learn how to thicken her skin in order to say, yet again, goodbye.
One thing is for sure, it groomed me to be an agent of change with a unshakable respect and curiosity for how we all adapt to the unknown and the artistry and tenacity of turning lemons into soul quenching lemonade.
Sitting high in a tree, immersed in a field of wildflowers, or running and dancing like a banshee on the beach were all places that fed me in a childhood rich with adventure but short on stability. It is little wonder that most of my life has been dedicated to understanding how nature, the body, mind, and spirit optimally work together. Maybe you could say I am a "systemsologist" specializing in connection and communication! But jokes aside, I am and always have been into how we create meaning and connection in our lives and how to have a healthy relationship with ourselves and all that matters to us.
I am blessed to be the mamma of an amazing young boy. Every day I am grateful for the gift of being another person's mentor and also challenged with the usual single parenting ups and downs. Thankfully, my son and I are surrounded by precious communities that offer all that stability and circles of support that I craved growing up.
Reclaiming my natural expressions as a woman, especially as an entrepreneur, continues to be a crucial part of my personal and professional life. For many years I pushed really hard towards what I thought was expected of me in order to be seen as competent, successful, and worthy of respect. Intelligence trumped intuition, credentials clarified my worthiness, and I made sure you knew, in a nice and loving way of course, of how smart I could be.
At this point, none of that makes me who I am or qualifies me for greatness, this I know for sure. And it took losing my marriage, money, being almost a Psychologist, both of my parents, and my natural state of health, innocence, and joy to learn that in the most powerful 7 years of my life thus far. Well, seven is said to be the number of transformation!
My intention is to support others, especially women, in deeply believing in themselves and what they are here to offer. I believe that the more real we are, the more we get to open to others and to what life has to offer us. Then we get to pay it forward, and that is what I hope to do…to take what I've learned so far and empower other women to do the same, and for all of us to have a positively abundant life on all levels so that we can give back even more.
Life truly is for the living, and I am dedicated to living strong and gracefully, no matter what happens or what it takes to connect, work, love and live to my fullest!
